GemPharmatech has pioneered a brain microvessel depletion technology for the assessment of drug concentrations in the brain during pharmacokinetic (PK) studies. This method effectively distinguishes molecules that genuinely penetrate the brain parenchyma. As illustrated in panel A and B, the whole-brain concentration of TA1 is lower than that of TA3, TA1 also exhibits significantly higher levels than TA3 in the demicrovascularized brain parenchyma. These findings are consistent with the staining results, indicating that TA3 is predominantly distributed within cerebral blood vessels.
