Figure 1. 6-week-old C57BL/6J mice were subcutaneously injected 5 mL/kg of 20% CCl4 (twice weekly) for 10 weeks, whereas control mice were given the same volume of olive oil. Liver slices stained with Sirius Red revealed significant fibrosis in the CCl4-injected group.
